I am a three time award winning freelance photographer/videographer specialising in Features, News and Sports photography based just outside, Navan, County Meath. I have been awarded three 2nd place awards in the annual AIB PPAI (Press Photographers Association of Ireland) Photojournalism Awards in 2008/9, and 2014 as well as a commendation in 2009. I regularly undertake assignments from the Irish broadsheet market including The Sunday Times,The Irish Examiner, Sunday Business Post, Irish Independent and Irish Times as well as all of the features work for The Meath Chronicle's Inspire Magazine and more recently the largest photo agency in the world - Getty Images as well as Ireland and the UK's biggest press agency - The Press Association.
I also supply all Irish newspapers with spot news events and my work has appeared in publications all over the world, my archive (currently 17,000 images) is represented by some of the world's largest stock photography agencies - namely Getty Images, Zuma Press and Alamy Images. My photography has been licensed/commissioned by the following corporations/publications: The Irish Examiner, The Irish Times, Sunday Business Post, Sunday Times, Coca-Cola, Bank of Ireland, RTE, BBC, UTV, Channel 4, Newsweek magazine, The Guardian (UK), The Independent (UK), The Times (UK), The Telegraph (UK). Toronto Globe and Mail, and my work has been reproduced all over the world including Japan, South America, USA, Russia.
I also have over 1,000 (that's correct one thousand) Pearson Publishing book covers that have been created with my images. I live 10kms outside Navan, County Meath with my wife Norie, daughter Molly and French Bulldog 'Buzz' and am available for assignments/commissions - distance no object! I am a fully insured, fully paid up member of the National Union of Journalists and the Irish Press Photographers Association.
